Top Most Food Delicious Restaurant - Bittoo Tikki Wala

What do you want to hear once you are done eating any lip smacking dish..? Burrp of your stomach right! But all we get is a huge hole in our pocket by the end of any decent meal in an ‘averagish’ restaurant. We all our food delicious or in layman’s language yummy!! But looking at the current scenario the recent changes or ‘development’, as they call it is going more towards the ‘kichidi’ market. Now a day it is more about the presentation then the taste. We don’t mind paying, but paying for something I did not ordered is definitely the last thing I would want. Here would like to tell my readers about and recent incident that took place, yes I want to call that an incident rather than calling it one of my most awaited outside dinning, six months to be precise.  ‘Bukhara’ at ITC Maurya Sheraton is one of the most reputed one of the top most ranked Top Restaurants in Delhi of our country requires you to do a  booking six months prior. So after waiting for six months I finally was sitting with five of my friends in this beautifully decorated and amazingly maintained, it was a feast to my eyes. I felt that I have already won my half battle here, because I have been cramming my friend about this place like crazy for past ‘six’ months. Like a hyperactive kid I order for all my friends. I could see the food coming I order and as soon as it touched my table again being at my childish best I became restless to dig in. The non-vegetarian items order without fail was worth raving about. Appropriately marinated and exact amount of masalas mad every one order another platter, but on the other hand the truth of it, the second thought was that, I have tasted better kebabs  than this. With every other dish I had ordered after trying I got the same feeling again and again. All I could thing was whether this was a good idea of not. To make the whole experience a nightmare for me was when I asked for the check. I would like to ask you to make a wild guess about the same. Please before reading further  just do your math’s and guess I how much I ended up paying for 5- 6 dishes for 5 people. Done! Ok hold your breath I paid whooping 40, 000 Indian Rs. Phew I still get a minor heart attack every time I think of that adventurous dinner with my friends.  
I would have loved to pay that much money to some ‘barat wala’ caterers, because apparently he can cook much more delicious dal then the renowned Bhukhara chefs.  Where is the food industry going, is it all about making money and burning a hole in the pocked of a food lover in my case my whole pocket).  Visit Here…  http://btwindia.com/

He initially started by selling North India street delicacies such as Chaat, Bhalla, Papri and aloo tikki. And as they say the rest is history. From a ‘tutor’ to mentor of more than 500 employees, from his family business to now the owner of 10 brand outlets criss- crossing Delhi –NCR, he completely changed the way of street food outings. Now one can go out, sit on a decent place with family and enjoy the taste of street food without worrying about the health later.
BTW has not only created place in the heart of every middle class street food lover but has also created place and received numerous awards in the corporate market. From Times group to ITC’s every known name in food market is raving about BTW. I once ended up paying Rs. 40.000 at one of the best restaurants in Delhi of ITC, ‘Bukhara’, for meal of just 5 people and was not even happy about the taste of the food.  I am quite sure that I am not going back there, but if you will ask me to take another round at my nearest BTW outlet, not even a second thought will cross my mind.   BTW is utterly satisfying for my taste buds as well as for my pocket. The history of BTW popularly known as "Bittoo Tikki Wala" is very interesting and inspiring.

In his early days and at a small town of Ayodhya Satiramji was respected as a ‘tutor’ who used to administer ‘tuitions’ to poor students, hence initially he was popularly known and addressed as  Masterji.

To many in his community he is still their Masterji. As the turn of events, would happen, his mentors and well-wishers advised him to start something on his own and prove his mettle rather than depend on someone for his living. Having no business acumen, but only faith & confidence in himself to back him, he set on a glorious journey. The concept and thought of doing own business took shape in the form of crispy, ready to eat snacks.

Initially the idea of selling North Indian street delicacies such as Chaat, Bhalla, Papri and Tikki took shape and got him going. His skills sharpened and struck deep. He now needed a loyal supporting hand. Masterji decided to expand his business along with his nephew Sh Ramakant, who too started the success journey and moved together.

With limited resources available, he purchased a ‘Rehri’ on which a Logo Mentioned ‘BITTOO’ was already ‘embossed’. Hence Satiram got transformed to Bitoo jee.

Thus a modest Journey began, and bittoojee started selling snacks on his portable stall (Rehri) in the streets of Rani Bagh and people from all walks of life, society, class, religion, gender and ethnicity liked and admired his mouth-watering products.

His dedication, honesty and utmost faith in himself and his people management skills kept him motivated all the way. His sheer hard work and honesty attracted many like-minded people who blessed his business venture. His business grew in leaps and bounds. Now, instead of selling his products as mobile hawker, he got a shop to establish his business. He opened his first shop in 1991 at Ranibagh Market.

He earned people's respect with his honesty and simplicity. Within a few years, Masterji's popularity grew far and wide. Encouraged by his success he opened more outlets and ventured into new fast food, snacks and now into full-fledged Catering Services inDelhi. His business started getting established to compete with the best in the market.

Masterji's corporate vision and encouragement received from people made him to go national from his family business. He got his Satirams BTW name registered and started establishing brands across India.
